* Please note that Preschool dismisses 15 minutes earlier than K-8 every day, to include half-days. Regular dismissal for Preschool will be 3:00 p.m.; early dismissal days will be 12:00 Noon.
Arrival 2022-2023
PreK to 8th-grade families are expected to drop students off between 8:10 and 8:30 a.m.
Kindergarten to 8th-grade families will follow the carline, with safeties and staff assisting students in exiting cars. All students will enter through the main doors and proceed to classrooms. Students arriving after 8:30 am will be marked tardy and must be signed in by a parent.
Preschool families will remain in the carline and pull forward to the door at the back of the Hall by the flagpole, adjacent to the preschool. Safeties and school staff will be available to assist students in exiting their vehicles and they will proceed through the doors to their preschool classrooms.
Parents should remain in their vehicles throughout the arrival process.
Dismissal 2022-2023
Safety is paramount, first and foremost, for both our students and their families. It is expected that all directions provided to drivers picking up students be followed and adhered to.
PreK Dismissal
Preschool will dismiss students at 3:00 p.m.
Families with only preschool students can form a carline in front of the preschool doors and staff will bring students to the vehicle. Please place a name placard in your vehicle’s front windshield – PreK teachers will communicate details with families.
PreK with Siblings Dismissal
Families will park in the back lot for regular dismissal and will not be in the preschool carline in front of the preschool. The caregiver will walk to the preschool classroom doors to pick up their student at 3:00 pm and return to their parked car to await their other students.
Please note: older siblings will no longer be dismissed early for the preschool families. PreK with siblings will dismiss in the regular carline once both sets of students are ready.
Kindergarten – 8th grade dismissal
- When parking in the back lot, please back into the spots against the playground and the white fence for easy exit when directed by the teacher on duty.
- Kindergarten to 5th grade families should meet their student(s) in the area of the lot adjacent to the convent.
- Kindergarten students will exit the building at 3:11 pm, with the rest of the grades dismissing at 3:15 pm
- Once students exit the building, please move safely with your child to your car and wait for the teacher on duty to direct you from the parking lot.
- After the long whistle, the teacher on duty will begin dismissing cars at the front of the lot by the church and make their way toward the back of the lot. Please do not pull out until directed by the teacher on duty.
- If you arrive after the backlot has been coned off:
- Before cars are dismissed from the lot, you may park your car in line and walk to the dismissal area to meet your child to take them directly to your car.
- Once cars begin to leave the lot, we ask that you wait in your car until directed to loop around the lot and pick your child up at the school office. Please do not cross the line of moving traffic.
- If you are staying to enjoy the playground after school, please park against the white fence. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on the playground. Students may not play on the black top at any point during the dismissal time frame (3:00-3:45). The playground and field areas must be cleared at 3:45 pm to allow aftercare to use the area.
- In the event changes need to be made during dismissal, please follow the directions given by the teachers on duty.
